How this website handles your data, and what it does not do.
In short
This is an information website. It creates no account and collects no health data; the only thing you can fill in is an online booking, which takes place in Google's calendar (see below). You can browse it without transmitting anything beyond what is technically required to display a page, unless you choose to display the Google Maps map or the booking calendar.

What we do not collect
- No contact form. The only data you enter goes into Google's booking calendar, described below.
- No advertising trackers, and to date no audience measurement tool.
- No data about your health is requested or stored by this website.
- Fonts are hosted on our own server: your IP address is not passed to any third-party service to display them.
Geolocation
The home page offers to show you the nearest consultation location. This only runs if you click the button, and your browser then asks for your permission. The position obtained is first used, in your browser only, to find the nearest location: the website neither records nor retains it. You may refuse and choose your town from the list provided.
Two buttons then appear. "Open directions" opens Google Maps in a new window, and "Show the route here" loads a Google Maps route map into the page. To draw the route from where you are, both buttons pass your position, rounded to about a hundred metres, to Google, which also receives your IP address and may set cookies. Nothing is passed on until you click one of those buttons. If you chose a town, its name is used as the starting point.
Technical data
As with any website, the host keeps connection logs containing, among other things, the IP address, the date and the page viewed, for security and proper operation. Retention period to be completed according to the host chosen.
Third-party links and content
The "Directions" buttons open Google Maps in a new window. As soon as you click, you leave this website and Google's privacy policy applies.
The contact page offers a Google Maps map of the Tournai practice. It is not loaded when the page opens: it only appears if you click "Show the map". Your browser then connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and may set cookies, under Google's own privacy policy. This choice is not remembered: without your click, the map never loads.
A reviews display is planned for this site: it sets cookies and will only be enabled after your explicit consent.
Booking appointments
Online booking for the Tournai practice goes through the practice calendar hosted by Google (Google Calendar). On the "Choose your time slot" page, it only loads if you click "Show free slots": your browser then connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and may set cookies. The information you enter to book (name, e-mail address and, where applicable, phone number) is processed by Google, under its own privacy policy, and by the practice, solely to manage your appointment.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of data concerning you. To exercise it, write to inoui.audition@gmail.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels.
Patient records
Data collected during a consultation at the practice forms part of the patient record and is processed outside this website, in accordance with professional confidentiality and the regulations applicable to health professions.
Note for the practice, to be removed before going live: this text describes the website as delivered today. It will need updating as soon as a form, a reviews display or an audience measurement tool is added. Have it reviewed by an adviser before publication.
